New bus stand in Pulwama lacks facilities, people suffer | KNO

Pulwama, Jun 05 (KNO): New bus stand Pulwama which was established some four years ago in Drusoo area of the town is in shambles, causing commuters to suffer. As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), people said that showers result in waterlogging at the stand. Ihsfaq Ahmad, a passenger said that the old stand was equipped with better facilities and here ‘we have to suffer on a daily basis’. Shakeel Ahmad another passenger said that government must take immediate steps to repair this stand so that passengers won't suffer. There is no passenger shed, no rooms for drivers where they can rest besides no rooms for people who are running this stand, he said. Passengers said that authorities are well aware about the issue but due to unknown reasons no steps are not being taken to repair it—(KNO)
